Track Record Having over 20 years experience in performing in-flame measurements at full load, QinetiQ have provided leading UK and European engine manufacturers with otherwise inaccessible data for CFD validation and design optimisation. The facilities have enabled QinetiQ to achieve a number of world firsts including a large-scale EU demonstrator for LPP technology and flame transfer measurements at full load for combating combustion instabilities. In addition, the facilities have hosted world-leading soot and aerosol measurement programmes. |
