In response to the UK MoD’s emphasis on Network Enabled Capability (NEC), we co-founded the Network Integration Test and Experimentation programme (NITEworks) - this brings together experts to address integration and operability issues and evaluate the benefits from improved information flow across the battlespace.
NEC demands a change in the approach to planning. We have developed and trialled flexible and extendable Effects Based Planning (EBP) decision support tools. These aim to satisfy existing campaign planning requirements whilst enabling military processes to evolve towards an effects-based approach. |
